Teacher offers the class

Teacher takes attendance

Teacher models how to obtain the length of the arc of a circle and how to use the formula

Teacher reminds students to convert angle into radians if needed

Teacher and students look for the basic ideas about the angles form by different lines. 

Teacher clarifies why two adjacent angles are supplementary and how 2 vertical opposite angles are congruent. 

Teacher shows  the different cases they can face using algebraic equations and how to form equations and solve them.

Students respond to the attendance

Students use the calculator to help the teacher to solve the problems and take notes

Students use their book to practice exercises about the length of arc. 

Students take notes about the basic ideas of angles formed by 2 lines. 

Students will practice some problems from the book to find the value of a variable by creating equations using the ideas  that adjacent angles are supplementary and  vertically opposite angles are congruent.
